Meet The Creator
Anna Kessler is the creator and CEO of Pourme Candle that aims to produce high-quality and sustainable soy products. Pourme Candle was inspired by Anna's love and passion for nature and design, as well as Asheville's creative and artistic spirit.
Anna's Story
Raised on a small farm in Pennsylvania, Anna graduated from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture. In her earlier years, Anna was always fascinated with design. She continuously came up with new ideas in and around her parent’s home to better improve their lifestyle and to create more stylish spaces for them. Being the only person in her family interested in the design field, she had to forge her own path and follow her dreams of becoming an interior designer.
Wanting to push herself further, Anna relocated to Asheville, NC where she became an Interior Designer at a local high-end design firm, and where she currently still works full-time. During all of the hustle and bustle of today's world, Anna soon found herself turning to candle making as a pass-time hobby. Using her knowledge and background in design and her new found love and passion for candle making, Anna began her journey of starting her own candle company, Pourme Candle, where she combined all of these passions in one place to create unique products, and a welcoming shopping experience.
When Anna is not working in the office or making candles, she loves exploring the charming city of Asheville or finding new hiking trails in the Appalachian Mountains or touring the Biltmore with friends and family.
