Candle Care
Every candle needs proper care. Below are some methods to ensure you get the longest life span out of your candle.

Trim Your Wick
Always trim your wick to 1/4" before each light.

Remove Impurities
Never leave the trimmed wick, matches, or other impurities in the wax pool.

Extinguish
If the flame is burning too high, smoking, or flickering, then extinguish the candle.

Timer
Only burn your candle for 1-4 hours in one burning period.

No Fans
Make sure your candles are never near any blowing vents or fans.

Pets & Children
Do not leave your candle unattended or in reach of children and pets.
What is Candle
Tunneling &
How to Fix it?

Candle tunneling is when only a small circle of wax melts around the wick while your candle is burning, instead of across the entire surface of the candle. This usually leads to some wax being wasted, and if it becomes deep enough, can even make it impossible to light the wick.
The solution to this issue is thankfully quite simple. It is recommended that each time you light your candle, to let the wax melt to the edges of the container (usually takes about 1-2 hours depending on the size of your candle). This is especially important to do on the first burn. If your candle still shows signs of tunneling, there are a few other ways to fix it.
The first method of fixing candle tunneling is to use a hair dryer. Make sure to extinguish the flame before trying this. You can use a hair dryer on a low setting to melt the entire top of the candle until the wax reaches the edges of the container.
The second method is to use aluminum foil. Using one or more sheets, wrap the foil around the outside of the candle so that the top extends inward over the unmelted wax like a roof while leaving the center open for the flame. Light the candle and let burn for about 1-2 hours, or until the melted wax reaches the edge of the container.
The third method is to simply scoop out the unmelted wax with a spoon until it is the same height or lower than the center part of the candle that melts. Light the candle and let burn for about 1-2 hours, or until the melted wax reaches the edges of the container.
